Yandex Education in Israel operates few local  training programs: Y-DATA, Practicum100 bootcamps and B2B courses in the fields of Data Science, Analytics and Web Development. At Yandex we believe that everyone has a chance to jumpstart a new or advance its current career. That's why we produce quality educational content and offer intensive courses in tech for the last 14 years. Some of our programs are offline and seem more like academic studies, others are online based on built in-house interactive platform and combined with unique student guidance model that include, code reviews, community management and support from industry experts. 🖤 About the position

Learning new tech professions isn't easy and most of us did it the hard way. Our goal is to help students and graduates avoid common mistakes, accelerate their learning process, and help them land jobs.

We do not only teach. We also help people start a new career or expand an existing one. And for this, we train students how to prepare CVs, pass interviews and find their place on the job market. But, no matter how well job candidate is trained and prepared for job hunting, it takes two to tango. On the other side there are companies that are so hungry for experienced developers and analysts but mostly very reluctant when it comes to juniors. We can not blame them for that, but we can facilitate the daunting process of juniors absorption. Israeli branch of our Career Center will work closely with local hi-tech (and not only) companies and will build a “bridge” between a growing community of Yandex Education graduates and the industry. It will include internships, candidate initial assessments and screening, on-site additional trainings tailored for the companies and etc. We’ll do everything possible so that hundreds of our community members find a new job and hundreds of open positions in the industry don’t stay unplaced for too long.

All this is done by the Career Center. We are looking for a person who shares Practicum’s goals and values and will strengthen our Career Center team. We aim a person on this Project Manager position to establish contacts with companies, find relevant open positions, help our community members and graduates with employment, and the team — with process management.

Over time, it will be possible to grow into a full-fledged head of partnerships or a product manager.

🖤 What will you do as a Project Manager in the Career Center?

• Establish a track record of sourcing, developing, and maintaining partner relationships;
• Monitor suitable vacancies to provide constant job offers to our ever-growing number of graduates and identify potential matches with employers;
• Manage partner acquisition and retention funnels;
• Organize and support the process of collecting and systematizing information on employed graduates;
• Facilitate contact and communication between Yandex partners and teams responsible for the creation and development of educational products - so that product managers timely receive feedback from the market on the content of the programs and the compliance of graduates with the market;
• Help Yandex Education Israeli team with current processes, as well as come up with new ways to work more efficiently and joyfully :)
